Twin Cities Softball League Wraps Up Season With Heartfelt Closing Ceremonies at Karrh Park
The Twin Cities Softball League closed out a successful first season Monday evening with a community‑wide celebration at William Karrh Park, bringing together players, coaches, families, and supporters for a night filled with recognition, pride, and plenty of softball spirit.
The ceremony marked the end of months of competition and growth for athletes ranging from T‑Ball through 16U. The league, known for its commitment to player development, sportsmanship, and family‑friendly fun, once again delivered a season full of memorable moments for Texarkana’s young athletes.
Parents and fans filled the park as teams took the field one last time, many wearing their team colors and cheering just as loudly as they had all season. Coaches recognized players for their hard work, improvement, and dedication, highlighting the league’s mission to create a positive environment where athletes can learn, compete, and build lasting friendships.
League organizers thanked the families, volunteers, and community partners who helped make the season possible, noting that the continued support from Texarkana is what allows the program to grow each year.
“This league is about more than softball — it’s about giving kids a place to belong, to learn, and to have fun,” organizers shared. “Seeing the stands full and the smiles on these players’ faces reminds us why we do what we do.”
As the sun set over Karrh Park, players posed for photos, exchanged high‑fives, and celebrated the end of a season they’ll remember for years to come.
The Twin Cities Softball League will return next year, continuing its mission to offer organized, competitive, and welcoming softball opportunities for athletes of all skill levels.
