TEXARKANA — The TXK Pokémon GO Community will host Pokémon GO Fest Global 2026 at Spring Lake Park on July 11 and 12, with the worldwide event free for all players for the first time.
Trainers will gather from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. CST each day to raid, shiny hunt, trade and take on one of the biggest Pokémon GO events of the year.
The event marks a major milestone for the mobile game, with Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y debuting in Super Mega Raids exclusively on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Participants can earn Mega Mewtwo Energy from these raids, and a new update will split Mega Evolutions like Mewtwo and Charizard so players earn specific Mega X or Y Energy to unlock each form.
All Mewtwo caught from Super Mega Raids during the event will have their first Mega Evolution unlocked, and lucky trainers may find theirs already at Mega Level 2 or 3, according to Niantic. Special event bonuses, global habitats, exclusive encounters and Campfire check-in rewards will be available throughout the weekend.
The TXK group invites trainers of all experience levels to meet up, make new friends and explore both Spring Lake Park and the wider Texarkana area together.
