Juvenile Arrested In Armed Robbery Of Texarkana Convenience Store

TEXARKANA, Texas — Texarkana Texas Police detectives have arrested a 15-year-old juvenile in connection with an aggravated robbery that happened just before midnight last Thursday at a convenience store in the 200 block of W. 38th Street.

The suspect walked into the store dressed all in black and wearing a black mask. He pointed a handgun at the clerk, demanded money, and then ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Patrol officers quickly responded and searched the area, but the suspect wasn’t located that night. However, detectives picked up the investigation, identified the suspect, and arrested him yesterday on an Aggravated Robbery charge.

“Great work by everyone involved — from the officers who responded that night to the detectives who put the pieces together and made the arrest,” the department said.
