Terri Cupps, 69, of Redwater, Texas, passed away on July 26, 2026.
Terri was born on May 1, 1957, in Beaumont, Texas, to Merele and LeeRoy Cupps. She devoted her professional life to caring for others as a registered nurse at Titus Regional Medical Center before retiring. Her career reflected the compassion, kindness, generosity she demonstrated throughout her life.
In her free time, Terri enjoyed walking her dog, visiting the park, and spending time with loved ones. She treasured every opportunity to share stories, laughter, and special moments with those closest to her.
Her family described her as caring, giving, loving, yet wonderfully funny. Terri had a generous heart, along with a special gift for making others laugh. She made people feel welcomed, supported, and loved. Whether caring for a patient, helping a family member, or simply sharing a laugh, Terri brought warmth as well as happiness to those around her. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did. The memories they created together will be treasured for years to come.
Terri was preceded in death by her adoring father, LeeRoy Cupps, as well as her wonderful sister, Stephanie Bean.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Merele Cupps; her brother, Roy Cupps; her children, Anthony Sanford with his spouse, Katreena Sanford; Dani Holder with her spouse, Craig Holder; Lance Smith; her grandchildren, Arianna Holder, Vince Jaralillo, Koreena Brooks, Kristeena Brooks and Dalton Sanford. Her great-granddaughter, Elliana Brooks; also a number of nieces and nephews also extended family members, friends.
A graveside service will be held at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens on Monday, August 24, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Heart Foundation in Terri’s honor.
