Destination Downtown with Mark Chesnutt

The ninth annual Destination Downtown takes over downtown Texarkana tonight, Saturday, Oct. 24, with a music crawl featuring 10 live bands across 10 stops.
Country singer Mark Chesnutt, known for his string of 1990s hits, headlines the Front Street Festival Plaza stage.
The event, put on by LNK TXK, is 21 and up. Tickets are sold through Outhouse Tickets. General Admission and VIP tickets include food and drink from more than 10 downtown locations, and all ticket levels include access to the full music lineup.
Among the food stops, Johnny B’s of Texarkana will serve ticket holders a choice of chicken and dressing or breakfast casserole, catered inside GoodLuxe on Broad Street. Organizers said quantities are limited.
The Downtown Trolley will shuttle attendees from one side of downtown to the other throughout the evening. Smoking, vaping, food and alcohol are not allowed on board. Non-alcoholic drinks are permitted only in spill-resistant containers with a screw-on or locking lid.
