The Miller County Candidate Meet & Greet and Chili Cook-Off is Thursday, January 22nd, from 5-7 pm at the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center. The Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center is located at 5200 Convention Plaza Drive, Texarkana, AR. National Conservative Commentator and Firearms Instructor, Jan Morgan, will be the Master of Ceremonies for the event. This family-friendly event is free and open to the entire Texarkana community. Chili, non-alcoholic beverages, desserts, and sides are complimentary for all attendees to enjoy.
Candidates and elected officials who will be on the March 3rd ballot, from both Miller County and the great State of Arkansas, will be in attendance to visit and meet with those they represent. Candidates will also introduce themselves to the audience during the event. To date, 38 elected officials and candidates have registered to participate. The scope of candidates range from state level, judicial, county level, district levels, and school boards. The full list of registered candidates thus far is listed below.
Early voting for the Arkansas preferential primary begins on February 17th and is located at the American Legion Building. The location address for early voting is 525 East Broad Street, Texarkana, AR. The Arkansas preferential primary election day is March 3rd.
