Police searching for man that opened fire on Ashdown Police Officer

Area police are searching for a Dallas man who fired shots at an Ashdown, Ark. Police Officer after being pulled over Monday evening.

25-year-old Glen Derricks was riding in the car when it was pulled over in Ashdown. When the vehicle came to a stop Derricks jumped out of the vehicle and began firing at the officer. No one was injured.

Derricks then ran into a neighborhood and has not been located. Little River County SHeriff, Ashdown Police and Arkansas State Police have been searching for Derricks all night.
