TEXARKANA, Ark. — Police are investigating after possible human remains were discovered Thursday afternoon on the Arkansas side.
Officers with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department were flagged down around 2:45 p.m. Thursday, June 11, near Delaware and Ray Street in reference to the discovery.
After confirming the find, TAPD’s Criminal Investigation Division and Crime Scene Unit responded and processed the area.
Investigators are now working to identify the remains and determine the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
The investigation is ongoing. Police say additional information will be released as it becomes available.
