TAPD searching for suspect that hit pedestrian

Texarkana, Ark. Police are searching for the suspect vehicle in an early morning hit and run that seriously injured a pedestrian.

According to Police they  responded to a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle in the 2100 block of East 24th street at 3 a.m.

The pedestrian suffered serious injury and was transported to Wadley.

Two witnesses observed a white Ford Expedition or a Lincoln Navigator that possibly struck the pedestrian. The suspect vehicle should have damage to the front including damage to the head lamps.
