A Texarkana man died Tuesday in St. Michael Hospital after jumping on a moving car Sunday on E. 48th Street, according to the Arkansas State Police.
A Dodge was heading eastbound on E. 48th when 26-year-old Jermaine Holmes jumped on the trunk. The vehicle stopped abruptly causing Holmes to fall off where he sustained a significant head injury.
Holmes was transported to St. Michael Hospital where he passed away Tuesday.
According to ASP the accident remains under investigation.
