A Texarkana man is in custody for allegedly setting a house on fire Friday evening in Texarkana.
Texarkana, Texas Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire in the 1100 block of Main Street Friday afternoon. They were advised by dispatch that a resident of the house may have set the fire and was still in the house.
Firefighters discovered the man, Peter Larry, in the backyard of the house and he was detained by Texarkana, Texas Police Officers.
After investigating for several hours by TTFD Larry was taken into custody for arson.
No injuries were reported in the fire.
