The Texarkana, AR and TX Police Departments are searching for Texarkana, AR resident 42-year-old Anthony Carmeli.

Officers are looking for Anthony Carmeli, who walked away from his children’s soccer practice Monday evening in the 1500 block of Pine Street. After asking another parent there to watch his children while he took care of something, Carmeli left on foot in an unknown direction and has not been heard from since. His cell phone was turned off shortly after he left the soccer practice. According to Carmeli’s friends and family, this is not normal behavior for him.

Carmeli is described as 42 years old, 6’ 1”, and weighing 250 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair, and a goatee style beard. He was last seen wearing a white tee shirt, shorts, and an Arkansas Razorback ball cap.

The family is very concerned for his welfare, as this behavior is very uncharacteristic.

If anyone has any information regarding the whereabouts of Carmeli, please call 903-798-3154 or 911.
