A two vehicle accident has southbound lanes of Highway 71 blocked at Lakeridge Drive Thursday morning.
According to police on scene a northbound vehicle attempted to make a left turn across traffic and struck a southbound vehicle head-on.
No threatening injuries were reported. One driver was transported to a local hospital by LifeNet.
Southbound traffic is flowing around the accident in northbound lanes.
