According to the National Weather Service strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible this evening over the Texarkana area.
Strong to severe thunderstorms will develop this evening over Southeast Oklahoma and Northeast Texas, and advance east southeast into Southwest Arkansas and possibly extreme Northern Louisiana late tonight.
Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats, although an isolated tornado or two can not be ruled out.
These storms will weaken late tonight with diminished instability.
