Uber ride-hailing service is coming to Texarkana next Monday, according to a notice sent by Uber to prospective drivers.
Uber sent a message Monday morning to people who have registered to be a driver for the service, alerting them that service will start Monday, August 28.
Uber employees are currently in Texarkana helping drivers get their accounts setup.

Requirement to be a driver include:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have at least one year of driving experience in the U.S. (3 years if you are under 23 years old)
- Have a valid U.S. driver’s license
- Use an eligible 4-door vehicle
