Illegal Drugs Worth $70,000 Seized and Homeowner Arrested

TEXARKANA, TEXAS – The Texarkana Texas Police Department Special Investigations Unit arrested Ikee Wyrick, 25, of Texarkana Texas during a search warrant at his residence in the 1700 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Drive today. Officers seized an illegal drugs estimated to be worth $70,000 from inside the residence.

Officers served the search warrant at approximately 11:00 this morning. Inside the residence, they discovered 19.5 pounds of marijuana, 31 grams of cocaine, 1,238 Xanax pills, and 3 tablets of MDMA (commonly known as Ecstasy). Officers also seized an undisclosed amount of cash found hidden throughout the house and a loaded pistol.

Wyrick was arrested and transported to the Bi-State Jail, where he is charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Marijuana, and three counts of Possession of Controlled Substance.
