A man is in custody after crashing into a Texarkana, Texas Police officer Tuesday evening.
According to on scene witnesses, the officer was turning left onto 4th Street from Lake Drive when the suspect ran a red light and struck the officer.
According to officers on scene, the officer didn’t suffer any major injuries in the crash.
The suspect that struck the police car was arrested after officers performed a field sobriety test on him.
