TEXARKANA, Texas – A morning dispute that escalated into a rolling gun battle between two vehicles left several homes damaged but resulted in no injuries, according to the Texarkana Texas Police Department.
Officers responded to calls regarding shots fired in the area of Anthony and Yale Streets around 10:00 a.m. Upon arrival, police discovered that multiple residences in the neighborhood had been struck by gunfire. Authorities noted that, miraculously, no one was injured during the incident.
Investigators determined that the shooting stemmed from an ongoing dispute between two men. According to police, the individuals fired multiple shots at one another from their respective vehicles as they drove down the residential street.
Police arrested 33-year-old Ikee Wyrick at the scene, charging him with Deadly Conduct. The second man involved in the shootout was not located at the scene, but officials state they have identified him and are currently obtaining a warrant for his arrest on the same charge.
