One person is in custody after a pursuit involving Texarkana, Texas police down State Line Ave. Friday evening.
According to police radio traffic the pursuit began on Texas Blvd. and led police down State Line Ave. before the driver and passenger bailed in the Opportunities Inc. parking lot.
Police quickly had the passenger in custody. They are still searching for the driver, who ran into the woods behind Opportunities.
According to radio traffic a suspected bag of drugs was thrown from the vehicle during the pursuit. An officer searching the vehicle also had a bag containing drugs.
