Police Searching for Man with Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury Warrant

Texarkana, Texas Police are searching for Quintavious Hayes, who has a warrant for Aggravated Assault with Serious Bodily Injury.

According to police, Hayes was involved in a minor vehicle crash on Stateline Avenue in late December. When the victim approached Hayes’ vehicle immediately after the wreck, Hayes said he was going to pull into a nearby parking lot to exchange information, but he took off the other direction instead. The victim realized what was happening and tried to reach inside the window to try to stop him from leaving. Witnesses said the victim’s arm got stuck in the seatbelt as the car sped away and he was drug for ten blocks down Stateline as Hayes’ car swerved back and forth. With the car still moving, Hayes unbuckled his seatbelt and the victim fell to the ground and began to roll down the middle of the street. Hayes just kept on going. The victim was taken to a local hospital and then admitted to the ICU with broken bones and several cuts and contusions.
