UPDATE: Texarkana man arrested on indecent assault charge after police investigation
A 51-year-old Texarkana man was arrested Friday afternoon on a charge of indecent assault following an investigation by the Texarkana Texas Police Department.
Jason Williams was stopped by an officer while driving Friday, when the warrant was served. He was taken to the Bi-State Jail and booked. He was released Saturday after posting a $50,000 bond.
The investigation began in May after a report that Williams had made inappropriate comments to a teenage female employee at his business, Texarkana, Texas Police said in a release.. The employee’s parent later shared details of the allegation on social media, and several women commented that they had experienced inappropriate behavior from Williams in the past.
Detective Lauren Freeman contacted most of the individuals who came forward. During the investigation, an 18-year-old woman told police that while working for Williams in August 2025, he pulled down her shirt and bra, exposing her breast. She said she immediately told him to stop and slapped him, then reported the incident to several people at the business before quitting her job. She did not contact police at the time but later provided details to Freeman.
Based on the evidence gathered, Freeman obtained a warrant charging Williams with indecent assault.
Williams has not been convicted. A charge is an allegation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
