Honoring Older Americans Month Information Fair

May is “Older Americans Month” and in honor of that the Ark-Tex Area Agency on Aging is holding an Information fair. The event is FREE to those who are over the age of 60 and will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The purpose of the fair is to inform the older population about the agencies and businesses that are available to them. There will be cholesterol and blood sugar testing performed by the Spirit of St. Michael. Snacks will be provided by Albertson’s. There will be information available from Texarkana College, 2-1-1, the Barnette Agency, the AgriLife Extension and Community Healthcore to name a few. We hope to see you there!
