One person has died after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 30 near New Boston Thursday morning.
According to reports a person was attempting to cross Interstate when they were hit by a vehicle.
One lane of eastbound Interstate 30 remains closed and traffic is heavily congested on Interstate and Highway 82.
The accident happened around 6:40 a.m. near the 204 mile marker.
The accident remains under investigation.
