Mardi Gras festivities kick of at 10 a.m. Saturday morning in downtown Texarkana.
There will be three parades this year.
11 a.m. – Krewe of Barkus, Meoux and Little Rascals — pets and kids of all ages to enter-decorating wagons, bikes, strollers, tricycles, and wheelchairs
1 p.m. – Zany Cajun Parade: golf carts, side by sides, atv’s
3 p.m. – Krewe of Koinonia – parade with floats, antique and classic vehicles
