Am I eligible to vote?
To register to vote in Miller County, you must:
- Be a United States citizen.
- Be a resident of Arkansas and of Miller County.
- Be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day. You may register before your 18th birthday as long as you will be 18 by Election Day.
- Not have been convicted of a felony without having completed your sentence. In Arkansas, your right to vote is restored once you have completed your sentence, including any probation and parole.
- Not have been judged mentally incompetent by a court.
Arkansas does not register voters by political party. At a primary election you choose which party’s ballot to vote; it does not register you with that party.
How to register
Arkansas has no online voter registration
You cannot register to vote over the internet in Arkansas. You must fill out a paper application and mail or deliver it to the county. Plan ahead so it arrives by the deadline.
Your application must be postmarked or delivered at least 30 days before the election. For the Nov. 3 general election, that deadline is Monday, Oct. 5, 2026.
Steps
- Get an application. Download and print the Arkansas Voter Registration Application from the Arkansas Secretary of State, or pick one up at the Miller County Clerk’s office, a state revenue (DMV) office, or a public library.
- Fill it out, sign it, and mail or hand-deliver it to the Miller County Clerk (address below).
- Watch for your voter registration confirmation in the mail.

Only if you qualify (unavoidably absent, illness or disability, military or overseas). See the Vote by Mail section.
Confirm where you can vote
Miller County’s early-voting and Election Day locations are set by the county before each election. Confirm whether the county is using countywide vote centers or assigned precincts, and find your location, with the Miller County Clerk or the Arkansas polling-place lookup before you go.
