$2,000 Reward Offered for Sex Offender Who Fled From Fort Worth Facility

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has added Brent Allen Jozefkowicz, 48, to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list, and a cash reward up to $2,000 is now being offered for information leading to his capture. Jozefkowicz, who is a sexually violent predator, removed his ankle monitor on Tuesday and fled from a Fort Worth halfway house. He is wanted for felony failure to comply with civil commitment requirements and is considered at high risk to reoffend. All tips are guaranteed to be anonymous.

 

Jozefkowicz has ties to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Cotton County, Okla. His criminal history includes indecency with a child by sexual contact and sexual assault. In 2008, Jozefkowicz was required to participate in the civil commitment program. Jozefkowicz is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He has tattoos on his right shoulder and both thighs; and scars on his right wrist and left hand.

 

Texas Crime Stoppers, which is funded by the Governor’s Criminal Justice Division, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.

Do not attempt to apprehend these fugitives; they are considered armed and dangerous.
