20th Annual Bramlett Beans & Cornbread

TEXARKANA, TX & Texarkana, AR – The 20th Annual Bramlett Beans & Cornbread luncheon will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2018, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, at the Southwest Community Center, located at 3222 W. 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Christmas Basket program, a volunteer effort that provides holiday food for Texarkana, USA, citizens who are in need. The initiative is led by the Cities of Texarkana, Texas and Texarkana, Arkansas, along with the Texarkana Water Utilities.

Lunch is $5 per person or 6 non-perishable food items, and includes beans and cornbread, sponsored by Big Jake’s BBQ and Texarkana Independent School District. Coffee and dessert is sponsored by the Starbucks on Richmond Road.

A silent auction will be held and proceeds will be donated to the to the Empty Bowl Project, program held by Texas High School students, and the Christmas Baskets project, held by the City of Texarkana, Texas..
