3rd Annual Live United Texarkana Bowl Meet & Greet

The 3rd Annual Live United Texarkana Bowl will be greeting and welcoming the student athletes and coached from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Central Oklahoma University on Thursday evening. There will be live remote at the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center Connections Bar from 5-7 p.m. The community is encouraged and welcome to attend.

On Friday, December 4th, the teams will split up into groups and visit some of the agencies who benefit from the United Way of Greater Texarkana. From 1-1:45pm, UCO athletes will be at Running WJ Ranch and Opportunties, Inc. Southwestern Oklahoma will have a group at Harvest Texarkana, Texarkana Resources and College Hill Middle School from 2-2:45 p.m.

Community Pep Rally featuring bands, dance teams and cheer squads from both schools will be held at at the Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center at 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening.

Game Day is kicked off with a 5K run starting at Razorback Stadium at 8:00 am.

Register on-line at texarkanabowl.com. Entry fee is $25 which gets the participant a t-shirt and game ticket.

Tickets are still available for the game on Saturday, December 5th with kick-off at 12:00 noon at Texarkana Arkansas Razorback Stadium. Gates will open at 9:00 a.m.

Anyone interested in participating in the Wadley 35 yard Field Goal to win $500 will get a ticket as they enter the game.

A name will be drawn and announced early in the 3rd quarter. Tickets can be purchased online through the official bowl game website, www.texarkanabowl.com or from any Mil-Way Federal Credit Union branch, the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way of Greater Texarkana office.

Note: The United Way of Greater Texarkana will accept credit cards; other locations will accept cash or checks. Please make checks payable to the United Way of Greater Texarkana in care of LIVE UNITED TEXARKANA BOWL.

There will be hoodies, t shirts, and hats available for purchase at the community pep rally and at the game.
