11:00 p.m. Saturday | Texarkana, Texas police officers arrested a man Saturday evening after crashing his car and failing field sobriety tests.
Police received a call a few minutes before the accident about an alleged intoxicated driver leaving olive garden matching the same description as the wrecked vehicle.
According to a caller the driver attempted to hide a bottle of alcohol before police arrived.
Police conducted a field sobriety test on site and placed a bottle of alcohol on the police vehicle while conducting the test. After conducting the test the driver was placed under arrest.
