Alma Racine Smith, age 89, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday May 25, 2026 in a local nursing center.
Mrs. Smith was born March 28, 1937 in Fouke, Arkansas. She was retired from Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant and was a member of Eylau Baptist Church. She loved to knit, crochet, and work in her garden. Her greatest joy in life came from her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maxey Smith; by her parents, Oscar and Lula Rogers; and by two sisters, Marguerite Tullis and Zephry Kyles.
She is survived by one son, Bryan Smith and his wife, Sarah, of Texarkana, Texas; two grandchildren, Crystal Hood and husband, James, and Jessica Smith, all of Texarkana, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Kyah, Carson, and Emery.
