Amber Alert Child Safe and Suspect Found Dead on I-30 Prescott

An Arkansas State Police investigation has confirmed the identity of the man who shot himself during a traffic stop by State Troopers earlier today

Tumetheus Lestavian Pack, 44, (last known official address) Portland, Oregon. Pack’s body has been transported to the State Crime Laboratory for examination and autopsy.

Pack was a fugitive wanted by Houston Police in connection with an Amber Alert.

An amber alert has been canceled for Tyemetheus Pack who has been found safe in Prescott, Arkansas. The alert was issued Tuesday morning after the boys mother Angel Jackson was found dead in Houston, Texas.

“A 44-year old man wanted by Houston Police died today at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope of what law enforcement witnesses report was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.”

The incident occurred about 10:20 AM (Tuesday, December 30th) during a traffic stop by Arkansas State Police near the 45 mile marker (eastbound) along Interstate 30 said Arkansas State Police in a press release.

According to the Arkansas State Police, “a woman and three children in the car at the time of the traffic stop were taken from the scene by State Police and were reported to be uninjured. The youngest of the children is believed to be the subject of a Texas Amber Alert.”

Texarkana Police issued a bolo this morning at 10:20 a.m. which was canceled around 20 minutes later when Arkansas State Police advised they conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in Prescott, Ark. on Interstate 30.

Authorities were looking for Tumetheus Levastavian Pack the boys biological farther who was a person of interest in the case.
