In a post addressed to the public, Texarkana Texas Police Department shared the tragic end of the search for Kayla Gomez, a 10-year-old from Bullard, Texas.
Kayla Gomez disappeared from the Bullard First Assembly Church about 7:30 last Tuesday night. Bullard is located just south of Tyler and approximately 120 miles from Texarkana.
According to TTPD, the Amber Alert issued last week by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office was canceled on Saturday after it was confirmed that the remains found on Saturday, November 5th, are that of 10-year-old, Kayla Gomez.
“Please keep her family, friends, and community in your thoughts and prayers,” wrote Texarkana Texas Police Department.
