Arizona woman killed in hit-and-run on I-30

A 73-year-old woman from Arizona was fatally struck after leaving the Arkansas welcome center on Interstate 30 and walking into traffic.

According to Arkansas State Police Elizabeth Karsner of Tucson was fatally struck early Sunday morning after leaving the welcome center where she and her husband had stopped to rest.

Police say that the driver of the vehicle that hit Karsner left the scene.
