TEXARKANA/LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Heart Hospital (AHH) has expanded the leadership role of Pamela Battle, promoting the veteran nurse to the position of Southern Clinics Director.
In her new capacity, Battle will oversee clinical operations across a wide geographic footprint, including clinics in Texarkana, Hot Springs, and El Dorado, as well as the Bariatric and Metabolic Institute in Bryant. Her responsibilities will include managing daily operations across these sites while leading initiatives focused on staff education and evidence-based medical practices.
Battle, who holds a Master of Science in Nursing, has been with AHH since 2022, previously serving as the Clinic Manager in Texarkana.
“Pam’s dedication to quality care and her ability to lead diverse clinical teams make her the perfect fit to guide our clinics in the Southern region,” said Ty Griffith, Clinic Administrator at AHH. “She leads with both expertise and empathy—qualities that embody our mission of putting patients first.”
With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, Battle’s background extends beyond standard clinical management. Before joining AHH, she held leadership roles at the University of Arkansas Family Medical Center (UAMS), Wadley Senior Clinic, and Mays Home Health.
During her tenure in previous roles, she was credited with launching community-focused initiatives such as a Remote Blood Pressure Monitoring Program and a Patient Food Pantry, aimed at addressing the social factors that impact patient health in underserved areas.
Battle holds degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of Louisiana Monroe, and Texarkana College. She currently holds board certifications in both Nurse Executive and Ambulatory Care Nursing.
