On September 2, 2014 at approximately 2:45pm, the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department responded to the 1300 Block of Dudley Street, in reference to a report of a robbery in progress. When officers arrived they located an employee of the business, who reported that she had been robbed by an unknown black male at gunpoint. The employee said the suspect entered the business and demanded cash while displaying a handgun. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash the suspect fled the scene on foot.
At that time officers gave a description of the suspect over the radio. The suspect, along with another male, was located in the immediate area, the intersection of Kyle and Seibert Street, by TAPD Detectives within minutes of the initial call. The suspects were identified as Michael Anderson, B/M 19yoa, and Lavarius Johnson, B/M 22yoa. Both Anderson and Johnson have been charged with Aggravated Robbery.
