Blanche Franklin Crow, age 75, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026, in a local hospital. She was born on January 5, 1951, in Texarkana, Arkansas to Ruth and Clarence Franklin.
She spent her working days as a homemaker, raising her children, grandchildren, and every animal she saw that needed a home. She loved her family and always wanted them around. She enjoyed being with Eddie, going shopping, to livestock auctions, dancing in any space that they could and being on the farm. She had enough animals that while her kids were in school, her farm was the schools field trip.
Her family would describe her as very caring, strong-willed, and independent. She was known to be open and honest with everyone but would go above and beyond for anyone who she loved. You never had to question if she loved you.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Crow; her daughter, Ginger Crow; both of her parents, Ruth and Clarence Franklin; two brothers, J.C. Franklin and Rex Franklin; and two sisters, U.V. Vaughn and Minnie Holders.
Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 28 years, Eddie Scroggins; four children, Jessica Crow and her husband Nathan Embry, Laura Leslie, Desire Passmore and Divine Passmore; five grandchildren, Trenton McMurry, Mason Embry, Sadie Embry, Cortez Fields and River Crow; along with a host of other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 4, 2026, at the Texarkana Funeral Home – Texas with Brother Gary Rivers officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. A visitation will take place on Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.
