Bowie County and Miller County Hold Elections on May 22, 2018

Do you feel powerful? Chances are you do if you are a voter in Bowie County, Texas, or Miller County, Arkansas.  Both counties are holding primary elections on May 22, 2018, and TXK Today decided to analyze voter participation in the Texarkana, USA area.

 

Miller County was able to provide more detailed information about previous elections, showing voter district participation breakdown by demographics, with the Sugar Hill area having 68% voter participation and Garland with 38% voter participation in their area.

 

During the November 8, 2016, General Elections, Bowie County, Texas, had a total of 11,819 registered voters.  However, on election day, only 4,536 cast a ballot.

 

There is a large deficiency in voter turnout for both Miller and Bowie County respectively.  Will you be voting in the upcoming Primary Election run-off for Bowie County and Primary Election for Miller County?
