Troop 16 Boy Scout Dawson Hervey started work on his Eagle Scout service project Saturday morning by building 10 dog houses for area animal rescue organizations.
According to Hervey he will be collecting dog food on Saturday, February 27 at the First Baptist Church Scout Hut at 3015 Moores Lane. Hervey says he has a goal of collecting 1000 lbs.
You can drop off dog food donations from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. on the 27th.
