Brush Fire on Sugar Hill Threatens Dogs in Wooden Cages.

1:00 P.M. Wednesday | Texarkana Arkansas Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Sugar Hill Rd. near Highway 67.  The fire appeared to have started at an 18 wheeler trailer parked on the property.  The truck was located near a row of wooden dog kennels.  Animal Control was on scene but fire fighters had the fire under control and evacuation of the dogs was not necessary.

Early on the fire appeared to be threatening a cell phone tower site,  fire crews appeared to have the fire under control and stopped from spreading quickly.
