Texarkana Cableone customers may soon be losing NBC on their channel lineup due to a price dispute between Nexstar and Cableone.

According to a release by Nexstar, customers may lose access to station KTAL at 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2015. “Nexstar has successfully reached agreements with all major carriers prior to now and we have been diligently negotiating with Cable One to secure a new agreement for continued carriage of KTAL by Cable One.”

“We expected that we would reach an agreement to allow you – our viewers – to continue receiving KTAL on an uninterrupted basis from Cable One,” states the release. “Unfortunately, despite our best efforts we may not come to an agreement and you may lose KTAL on December 31, 2015.”

In addition to all of the great NBC programming, including The Voice, Blacklist, America’s Got Talent, Sunday Night Football and the upcoming Rio Olympics, KTAL provides more than 24 hours of news and local programming to the Texarkana community.

Direct TV and Dish Network customers will not be effected.
