Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturing, Sea Scouts & Exploring are among the programs within the Boy Scouts of America.  Today, January 08, 2018, the Caddo Area Council is happy to announce the addition of a new unit, Post 2412.  The Law Enforcement Explorer Post is chartered by the Texarkana Texas Police Department.

Young men and women, between the ages of 14 and 20 years, will receive opportunities for in-depth learning in classroom and practical settings, in similar fashion to a cadet.

“Thank You to Police Chief Daniel Shiner, the police department and the City of Texarkana for their strong support of Law Enforcement Exploring.  And, Thank You to our Caddo Area Council Exploring Director Linda Willis for her leadership in the development of this new unit.  Serving more youth is exciting, said Anthony Escobar, Scout Executive.
