A semi-truck vs. car accident on U.S. 59 near the entrance to Lake Wright Patman sent one person to a local hospital with unknown injuries Tuesday afternoon.
The car was turning on 59 when it was struck by the northbound semi-truck.
Liberty Eylau Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene with assistance provided by Wake Village Fire Department.
Texas DPS troopers were on scene investigating.
