Texarkana Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas at the Perot was interrupted by a power outage five minutes into Sunday evenings performance. According to Texarkana Symphony Orchestra they are working towards rescheduling the performance and the announcement of the winner of the Celebrity Conductor Competition and as soon as that determination is made they will contact all ticket holders.

TSO regrets the unprecedented circumstances that resulted in the interruption of our Christmas at the Perot performance this evening. A mere five minutes into the performance the Perot Theatre lost all power. After attempts to wait it out for almost 30 minutes, the Perot Theatre Management Company asked that we end the performance and vacate the facility due to the imminent loss of evacuation lighting.
TSO is currently working towards rescheduling the performance and the announcement of the winner of the Celebrity Conductor Competition. As soon as that determination is made we will contact all ticket holders. Thank you to the some 900 concert goers and musicians who safely exited the facility in less than 30 minutes.
Again, we thank you for your understanding in this matter.
