According to the DeKalb City Pound, a confirmed case of rabies has been found in which a human was exposed.
The animal exposed, which is now deceased. was a cream and grey colored cat. DeKalb Animal Control asks that anyone that has been bitten or scratched to call them at 903 667 0903.
Do not pet, harbor, or have contact with stray animals.
