Dekalb man killed in single vehicle accident on I-30

A 27-year-old from Dekalb was killed in a single vehicle accident on I-30 at approximately 3:48 a.m. Sunday morning 2 miles east of Hooks, Texas.

According to a Texas DPS crash report Brandel Tyrell Williams was pronounced dead on scene by Judge Nancy Talley.

Willaims was traveling westbound on I-30 when his 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis left the roadway in a side skid on a steep embankment on the north side of the interstate going airborne, striking a guard rail with its front, at which time caught on fire.
