Eighteen Wheeler Rollover Accident on I-30 Near New Boston

9:15 a.m. Monday | New Boston Volunteer Fire Department was on scene of an eighteen wheeler rollover accident on I-30 near Highway 98.

The truck was heading westbound on I-30 when, according to the driver, he started sneezing and coughing which caused him to lose control of the truck. The truck crossed the median and went into eastbound lanes coming to rest on its side partially blocking eastbound lanes.

The driver of the truck was not injured and said he was thankful no one else got hurt. Traffic on I-30 Eastbound was forced to exit at Highway 98 and immediately return to I-30. This kept delays to a minimum.
