Texarkana Police arrested Tomerrow Nicole Harris, 25, of Texarkana, Texas yesterday afternoon for felony Theft of Property after she turned herself in at the Bi-State Criminal Justice Center.

Bryces Cafeteria contacted the Department in January and said that they suspected an unknown employee had been stealing money from the cash register. Detective Kim Weaver worked with the business to complete financial audits and reviewed surveillance video from the business. As a result of the investigation, Harris was identified as a suspect. Weaver was able to determine that Harris had discovered a method of where cash transactions at the drive through window could be made without them showing up on her daily transactions. Harris would then remove that money from the register so her cash drawer appeared to balance each day. It is believed that Harris is responsible for the theft in excess of $11,000 from the business between June 2015 and December 2015.

Detectives continue to investigate this case as it appears that other employees may have also stolen money from the business using the same method as Harris. Weaver indicated that additional arrests could be made at a later date.
