A group of youth pastors from the surrounding area met Friday October 6, 2017 to discuss specifics and pray over the Fields of Faith event that will be taking place Wednesday October 11, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Hawk Stadium.
The event will be completely student lead and free to the public, gates open at 6:15 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m. The first 1,000 people to show up to the event on Wednesday will be given free Chicken Express.
Matthew and Michel Cox, will also be handing out Bibles, Bookmarks, and Bracelets in memory of their daughter Chloe Cox who passed away this year.
“We don’t have ‘Fields of Faith’ just to lead people to Jesus, but we also hope it sparks something amazing in this town,” Said Eric Akin, Head Coordinator for Fields of Faith.
There will be 20 schools represented from all around the area present at the event. There will also be an illusionist and rapper there for entertainment before the event starts.
