10:30 A.M. Wednesday | A Texarkana, Texas Fire Truck, Engine 736, was involved in a traffic accident responding to a major accident at Walmart. According to radio traffic a mini van pulled out in front of the fire truck.
LifeNet was on scene treating at least one person. There did not appear to be any major injuries. The fire truck was responding to an accident at Walmart on New Boston Rd. with full lights and siren active.

Statement from Lisa Thompson, Public Information Officer for Texarkana, “Texarkana Texas Fire Department was in the process of responding to an accident in the 4000 block of New Boston Road this morning a little before 11:00 a.m.when an accident occurred involving Engine 736. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident and the scene is under investigation. “
