Former County Employee announces run for County Commissioner

Long time Bowie County resident and former county employee Kenneth Zachry is seeking election to Commissioner for Precinct 2.

Zachry has worked in Precinct 2 for ten years, nine of those years were under John Addington and one year was under Tom Whitten.

Zachry is employed by White’s Paint and Blast as a contractor employee at Red River Army Depot working in Transportation/Lot management Branch. Zachry has been married for 27 years. His wife is currently a school teacher at Pleasant Grove Elementary and has been teaching there for the past fifteen years. Zachry has two children that graduated from Pleasant Grove School and now attended college.

Zachry says his number one goal as Commissioner for Precinct would be to ensure financial stability for Bowie County and to protect the ones that protect us, the Bowie County Deputies.
